"George wanted to make his own documentary," said Harrison's widow Olivia, a producer on the project, whose Emmy wins included nonfiction special and nonfiction directing for Martin Scorsese. "I don't know what that would have been like. He was collecting film, he was filming for years. … We tried to do it with respect."
The Creative Arts portion of the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were handed out in a ceremony held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 15. An edited version of the show will air on ReelzChannel on Sept. 22, the night before the Primetime Emmys air on ABC.
